STUCK UNDER A COUNTER

Hey, lurker here, my nearly full grown Argentine B&W crawled under a counter while I was draining the bath I just gave him.
Cant get him out, he gets all mad and arches up underneath so I cant pull him out. He starts puffing, etc, I really don't wanna get bit. PLEASE HELP

also; We just got him last week, and all he does here is hide, is this unusual?

Hiding a lot is common among new animals or long-kept pets that are moved to a new cage.

Maybe leave some food out on a plate in the bathroom.

I got him out after picking him up under there and turning his head towards the hole and sliding it out a little bit.. only took two hours
