*Facepalm* The hybrid had been eyeballing it but never actually chomped down on it. This morning it was there, I went to feed him about an hour ago and noticed its just wires hanging with the plastic stick on piece. I'm hoping he just bit it and dropped it somewhere in the mulch but I haven't found it yet. Lucky me! The new enclosure might need to wait a week or two so I can take him to the vet if need be. He's now fast asleep with a belly full of mice.
