I have another thread on the natural diet of the Juvi B&W Tegu in Brazil and was trying to compare it to captive diets. Curious on how fat content would effect tegus.
Here is a bunch of nutritional info that I have found so far:
Bugs:

Still finding fish and veggie content.
By looking at the stats it seems like feeding rat/mice are pretty high in fat vs most other foods fed to the tegu. I am assuming that aswell as impaction is a reason these are fed so infrequently?
With possibly feeding to much fat in the diet, do people see the life of the tegu not getting to the 20 years?
