Well I guess my little dude is getting close to a year old because he is starting to get more and more aggressive! He doesn't bite but when I pick him up he fights like crazy. I don't let him win because I know he will continue if I let up. They are scary smart sometimes. Anyhow he is so strong that this time as he was fighting you could feel popping under his skin almost like if you were going to crack your knuckles. Has anyone else ever experienced this cracking or popping sound when wrestling a wriggling tegu? I'm thinking he's going through puberty he doesn't bite just fights like hell. I'm sure he will grow out of it.
