My juvie arg tegu is in a 2x2x4 cage with a 160 watt uva/uvb bulb about a foot from basking spot. But for some reason he's having tremors, but only in the warm baths I give him after he eats. What's up with this?

Maybe you notice it more in the tub or there is less affect of gravity in the water.. Why is unimportant continue to treat for lack of calcium [D3] try a new bulb .they go bad but you can`t tell .Is he getting a mouse a week ?? Bump it up to two dust with calcium ..Can you get him out in the sun??

There are two reasons for tremors, lack of UV and over heating, yours sounds like the second of the two. A 160 watt at 12 inches is a bit extreme, as well as a warm bath, if the water is too warm. What is your basking temps?
