Tegu refusing to eat.

My Argentine black and white is refusing to eat, it's been 4 days now and he shows interest in food but then proceeds to pick it up, drop it and give up. He also threw up / heavily salivated over his meal at one point, head scratching has become a more frequent occurrence. Any ideas guys? really worried.

Really need more info first..How long have you had it? How big is it? How do you have the cage setup(be specific - lights, cage size etc.)? and what are you trying to feed it?

When he "threw up" was it just clear liquid. I have found that my guys will drink a bunch of water and sometimes it a little will come back up if they are eating right afterward. but knowing husbandry and more details will help knowing whats going on. most importantly what are your basking temps?
