I've seen tegus get along with many other pets - but I refrain from doing so after having lost my blue tegu to an encounter with another breeders dog. Won't go into detail, but it's not exactly an ordeal I'd want to go through again or promote. You don't see it often, and most cases I've seen are successful - I just got the short end of the stick when it came to it all!
