So exciting to be adopting your tegu! Kudos to you!
I'd be VERY cautious about introducing other pets to your tegu. Obviously never leave your tegu alone with another animal unsupervised. Also, if you feel you must introduce them, do so slowly and gradually and over the space of as much time as possible. You really can't take too many precautions. There's just no way to say how each animal will respond.
