Wow this was not suppose to happen, but vet bills are pilling up like no other right now and I am having a hard time taking care of everyone. First off I would like to say Bosco IS NOT FOR SALE! The two tegus I have up for sale at the moment are my big girl Kiska and my smaller female Sport. This is a local sale only as I do not have time to work out shipping, sorry things are nuts at my place right now.
Both tegus are 100% female and eating almost anything you place in front of them.
Kiska: Three feet long missing 6 inches off her tail. She is BIG! She could dwarf some males I have seen. She is likes people, just make sure she is well fed. She was a rescue and I know little about her background. She likes soaking in the tub, food, basking, food, roaming the room, food oh and more food. Guessing her weight I would put her at ten to eleven pounds. She can get along with other tegus but I would not trust her, so if you're thinking of having her in with another tegu you might want another cage on hand. She doesn't mind being petted but not too good about being held. She has had a rough life but must have been well cared for when young to be so large now.
Sport: I got Sport at the start of this year from another member, she has been a great addition. She is friendly but is still very shy. She has a good apatite, took a bit to get her eating because of a long hibernation but she seems to be making up for lost time now. She is an amazing escape artist! She has gotten out a few times, luckily she likes to go under the first piece of furniture she finds. She has a much whiter head then most black and whites but it appears more yellow in person. She is roughly 2 years old and just over 3 feet with a full tail.
I live out in Julian, CA just an hour east of San Diego. I am often down in San Diego on my days off to visit my mom or take the dogs to the beach. I can deliver that would allow me to see where they will be living. Right now the best way to get a hold of me is email: [email protected] as my cell is really just for work at the moment.
Re home fee I am hoping for $200 each, like I said this money is going towards taking care of Bacardi at the moment.
