So I got home today to discover that Gaia had escaped her enclosure.. absolutely no idea how, but she's a jumper and gets into anything and everything so she obviously figured something out. Now I get to wait around with a heat lamp and some food. I sure hope she's alright..

Check behind the fridge, washer/dryer. When Gary got out I had just made as much noise as I could in/around the garage lol, eventually I startled him and he went running across the floor. Keep a light out with some food, keep all the doors closed if possible.

Success! So funny story, we are all but overrun with blue-tailed and broad-headed skinks, and they always seem to hang around the same areas. So after much fruitless searching and waiting, I checked out the garage where they all hang out, and sure enough she scattered with the rest of them when I opened the door haha. But shes back in here newly fixed enclosure no worse for the wear! :D

Safe returns are always nice to hear. Is she in an aquarium style enclosure or a custom one?

a custom one.. its actually a small room that used to house a stow-away bed.. a surprisingly easy transformation, since it was essentially an 8x4 wood box built into the wall.
