That's interesting. Bobby seems like the kinda guy who promotes free speech and such...I thought Josh owned this board now. I'm not trying to stir up s**t, but I think people have the right to ask those questions, no?

Hmm. The least he could have done was to post and tell us what the deal with the reds are before closing the thread, or even answer phone calls or emails.

Closed cause certain people just are liers bottom line,see i mention it before certain people can say what they want and others arent allowed to speak the truth.People real colors always seem to show in time.

He's a good guy, no doubt. But as stated before by myself and many others, he's got to find a way to communicate with his clients, or at least send out a mass email update. There's no question in that he produces one of the best lines of gu's in the business, but he's giving himself a bad reputation, one of which he could have easily kept at a great level had he communicated efficiently. I've dealt with Bobby before and my reds from him are in great condition and dog tame. When it comes to who id rather talk to and state my opinion with, it would have to be Johnny LaRocca. Both are great guys but I feel the need to keep my opinions to myself when I speak with Bobby. If I get banned for this comment, so be it, just stating my opinion, not bashing, all it is is what I've personally experienced. I just hope that Bobby sorts through the busy things he's got going on asap so he could give everyone an update. I know my next tegu will be another Varnyard, but it'd be great if he could be more efficient with his communication.

Why start a new thread on the same issue without knowing why the original thread was closed? Could just happen again for the same unexplained reason. Hence, the original question.

Valid points and all from most here but this thread could be closed just the same. On some other forums it would have been closed from the beginning.

It's already flirting with the rules and borderline Attack that a lot of people are quick to claim. But starting another thread for the same reason would definitely violate these two;

On some forums once a thread is closed it's against the rules to start another keeping the same issue going. It's not up to the moderators or who closed it to explain to Everyone the reason why it was closed even though most usually give a reason, it's the same when someone gets banned. They'll post "This thread has ran it's course" before things get out of hand or for what ever reason and close it. Some times it's nice to know but it's not something that has to be done.

It's not one of the rules here which is probably just one of the reasons why this thread is still open. I was just giving a heads up because I was surprised that it is still open.

From what I could see, there was no reason for the thread to be closed. If there were posts that were deleted, I did not see them and that is all that should have been done. It seems to me the thread was closed because the truth was being told about someone and he did not like what was being said.

This thread is not about the same issue, this thread is about why the other thread was closed, so even if that is a rule on this forum, it has not been broken.

If people have questions for Bobby, they know how to contact him.
If they want to discuss any transactions they have with Bobby - to 'warn' others or for any other reason - they will need to provide PROOF. There will not be any BASHING of any kind towards ANYONE.

The problem Josh, is no one has been able to get in touch with Bobby, thus the reason for the thread that was closed and at least 5 others on this forum. I didn't see the bashing, but I did notice a few posts were deleted. I thought posts were supposed to be moved to the mod section to be discussed between the mods, not just deleted. Lets not give special privileges to certain people. The forum should be a place where people can discuss their transactions, experiences with any breeder/distributor. What sort of proof would someone be able to provide if they attempted calling/emailing someone with no response?

You're absolutely right that special privileges will not be given to certain people. I've ensured that.

If people want to post that they have not been able to contact Bobby, that is fine. I guess what I am saying is that from now on posts will not be mysteriously deleted or threads closed - so long as they are not bashing anyone.
