Yes I will prekill, I would feel so bad for it >.< plus he doesnt eat live, he just plays with them -_-... Not aggressively, but actually plays with them. I had to kill his mouse earlier, then he shook it and tossed it everywhere, and never ate it! What a brat.
Thank you :) we were thinking of getting 10 live chicks for about 3$ (wed have to freeze or prekill of course) since it was such a deal. Think its ok? They come from our local farms
Awesome! Thank you so much for this video, I knew about feeling for them, but never knew you could see the bumps! Turned over my big boy and looked haha
Ok guys: I have kind of a weird question. Can he eat fresh killed chicks / quail? Someone told me my tegu can contract salmonella from a fresh killed or live ones?
Hahaha, i figured he was kidding. He/she is avout 11months
Wouls the beads not be showing at this point? Either way i love the little bugger, but ill have a talk with the person who sold him to me as male
I have had him for about a month now, so he is roughly about 10 months, give or take. Ive been wondering on his sex. Ill post some pictures, tell me if you need any extra information.
Thanks! He actually loves his beef, ground turkey etc. But if I try to give him a rodent that is not alive, he is not interested what so ever, but if I put a live one in there he snatches it immediately. Any idea on what I can do?
Actually, something along those lines wouldnt be a bad idea (since usually prekill mice for my snake, which is super quick and easy so dont worry people!) so I may just have to do the same until he gets use to it
