Hi everyone I had a question about insects. As of last week I've been noticing what looks like a white fruit fly insect inside his enclosure. I'm sure insects in his enclosure is not a good thing. Anyone know what this is? Is it bad for him? How can I get rid of this?
Would a cage 72x36x18 be good enough to house an adult argentine male tegu? I'm only going to use it for an overnight enclosure. During the day he will be out roaming. My main concern is if it's high enough for him to be full grown and be able to still be comfy. How tall do adult tegus usually get?
Mice, Ground Turkey, Super worms, crickets, salmon, strawberries. The only thing he likes is the mice and that worries me because he wont touch anything else.
Just found out that my tegu will only eat live food. That's normal correct? How can you switch/train him to also eat something that's not alive? I've put food in his bowl constantly but he won't touch it.
