Would it possible to keep a year-round outside pen for an Argentine in North Carolina? I don't know if the weather would be the right temperature or not for the animal to survive during the winter months.
Well, he will put his head up, and then I give him a lil' scratch underneath his chin... and he seems to like it. The only thing that gets annoying is that it is a Journey from his cage, to the bathroom... so when I give him a bath... he squirms and tries to get down. So I have to make a pit...

I got a Roy x Magnolia baby coming here in a couple weeks. I'm also possibly going to adopt a Tegu named Liz, from Pikey, and have an enclosure already tailored to the Tegu's needs. So I'm pretty excited--to say the least.

Aspen is okay, but doesn't hold humidity as well. A lot of people suggest Cypress Mulch, on here, and a few other sites that I have visited: it's cheap, and holds humidity well. Just make it deep enough for them to burrow well.
