If there is a topic on this already then if you could post links that would be great :) I bought a female black and white argentine and she will be a month old tomorrow, what I'm curious about and can't seem to find using the search function is what breeding age is for females. I read somewhere...
I've seen one or two dark mojaves online, but most of the ones I've seen in person are quite a bit lighter. She's beautiful either way and I hope you have great odds when you decide to breed her. it's cool to meet more Arizona reptile owners, I've lived in AZ for about 13 years at this point lol
Glad to hear she's doing better for you :) I know with my Nile it can be a real struggle to get the little turd to behave, but that's a totally different animal lol. I hope she continues to improve for you and doesn't go back to being a bitey little pain in the you know what.
ugh I dropped the ball replying lol, YAY EGGIES!!!! Hope for the best for you on the odds of the clutch. Yeah that lighting really isn't the best, but it's definitely better than the last one. She still looks dark to me, but she could just be a dark Mojave. Where did you get her?
I hope everything is going well since it seems to have been a while since you've posted about this. My only experience with repeated bitters is with some of my giant pythons and with them they grab and don't let go. I keep a bottle of strong whiskey around just incase so that when they bite me...
So I'm curious if there are any other anaconda owners on this forum (pics soon) I have a female green anaconda that's about a year and half old and just over 5 foot. She's remarkably tame and I'd have to say the only one of my snakes that actually wants my attention. She will actively try and...
beautiful snakes, I need to get a Mojave in my collection to breed to my banana male. The Mojave you have pictured doesn't look as bright as the mojaves I'm used to seeing, do you have a better pic of her?
I just got my baby black and white and she's only a couple weeks old and is flighty and afraid when she's in her cage, but once she's out she calms down pretty quick. I have a nile monitor that I've had for quite some time at this point, he's a bit territorial in his cage and will his and...
He's already a velociraptor lol [emoji23] or he thinks he is. My tegu hasn't touched anything but ground turkey just yet, but I'm sure she will as she grows.

My nile eats just mice and he's fine, I also know that underground feeds there adults rodents almost exclusively. Whole prey is actually quite healthy from what I've read
