WOW thank god he didnt get away.. im glad hes doing so well,. nice to see him growing and getting fat after that long hibernation,. Sorry I havent been on much but im glad to see PeeWee aka: Vegeta doing so well. Miss him around here.
Thanks again for everything your doing for him.
I used to do this with my larger Black throat cause my enclosure was huge enough to maintain it with no problems, well I cant say 100% no problems, as mentioned above the you would think the self fertilization would work.. If your thinking of going this route your mistaken, with an area...
I havent been on in a while, but everyone on here has helped me in one way or another when I had Vegeta, I would definately like to return the help to Reptastic.
Send me a PM with payment info I have paypal. & Goodluck to you!
Hey Jerry I still got that big enclosure here if your interested since your near by. Im selling it for $100 but you can have it if you wanna pick it up.
Vegeta has a new home, a member from here has him now, (Mr.Critter) taking good care of him,. last we spoke we were checking something that looked like mouth rot that was forming, but havent heard from him since, he took pics of him not too long ago and he looked great. Im not on as much as before.
When I saw Tico it was a great gu, sorry to hear about what happend. Your always doing your best to make sure your GU's are taken care of, sucks but things happen that we cant control.

I've owned a few waters.. 1st thing im going to say is ROOOOM!
To own one of these properly you need to give it as much room as you can,. do your research on your enclosure,. This monitor needs to stay active, needs to always have interaction with you, handling as much as possible, as mentioned...
I think you just have to set more time building trust with your tegu,. If your getting scratched, wiggled, etc,. then its letting you know its not comfortable with whats going on,. remember to move alot slower,. always pickup open handed with a loose but safe light grip,. always supporting from...
I would guess temps where too high also,. not enough humidity. When my tegu went into hibernation we had to regulate the lighting for alot less daylight and kept the temps a bit lower but not cold, I had a fogger going on a timer to keep the humidity up while still spraying the mulch every few...
Thank you everyone for the support,. The moderators can now close this thread, Vegeta has been shipped today to his new home.
I look forward to checking in and seeing some updates on the new diaries.
Thanks again Bill (Mr Critter)
