    My tegu is a columbian and is 1 year and 7 months and is exactally 24 inches. He has a very good varied diet and is happy and healthy... but at this point columbians are usually smaller then argentines right??

    What I like to do with mine is put him in my shirt.... I put on a tank top and t shirt then a sweatshirt and put him under the sweatshirt :) he loves it bc of the body heat!

    Just give him time :) since he was sick his body needs time I recover itself before it concentrates on growing again. As long as there is no "stuck" shed, he should b aright. I soak mine almost everyday if not every other, and mist him once a day and doesn't shed everytime, but probly about once...
