All my tegu does is sleep… She hides under her water bowl, and will not get up unless forced. Once up, she will eat, and act fine, maybe a little sluggish. I asked a local reptile shop and they said to wake her up every day, and that she is just extremely shy.
Is this something i should be...
Also, I have taken her outside, I'm just terrified to lose her. We live in Cali, so the humidity is not very high so I cant set up an outside enclosure for her.

I have an Argentine Black and White tegu, I got him/her back in December. When I got her (I think it's a girl), She was about 1 month old, maybe a little bit older. I think that she was about 14-15 inches...
