    new cute little baby

Good luck :) I just missed out on an adult female b&w only a 20 minute drive from me :(

Chris, have you seen Leeroy's ad on RFUK at the moment ? So very tempted to contact him, but I'm committed to a large hognose order at the moment.

    growth progression of my blues

You occasionally see the odd adult female b&w advertised. I think there is one on RFUK at the moment. I'm going to give my two another year to get to full growth and see what is around then if I can't find any more blues.

Are you thinking of holding back hatchlings to breed females back to your other male for blues ???? I know of someone else doing that at the moment, and may do the same if I don't find a female blue anywhere.

    growth progression of my blues

Getting to be a nice size now Chris :) Oh, and it looks like we both ended up with two males :( I'm trying to find two females to go with mine, but there only seem to be males available when I do find blues for sale !!!

    how blue are your blues

Mine have a slight blue tint, but nothing like that. The smaller of my two has the most blue coloration though. They are looking great Chris. How long from nose to tail tip would you say yours are now ?

my blues first time outside exploring the yard

Yes I went back and bought the other blue. He/she is calming down, but still has one hell of a feeding reflex !!! The first one I bought is huge now, twice the size of the other one. They were identical in terms of size when I first saw them. Still no idea on their sex. Somedays I would swear...

my blues first time outside exploring the yard

Nice photos. They look in great condition. Still not sure about the sex on my two, still to young to be sure. May end up having to buy more to build up a breeding group :( How is taming going Chris ?

    Pond sealer

Nice viv Chris. Did you build that yourself ? I'd hate to think how much that cost you. The blue is doing well. He/she has put on a lot of weight in the week I've had it. I think the other tegu was getting the bulk of the food at Wharf. It is becoming a lot more confident and stubborn, as the...

    Ackie Monitor vs Tegu

Monitors can become dog tame. It all depends on the amount of time you spend with them. I've had hand tame, perfectly docile ackies and boscs. A friend of mine has a huge water monitor that has the run of the house, using a litter tray in the upstairs bathroom !! It all depends on the...

How much are Columbian Black and white tegu's in the UK?

Blues range from £250-£750. I've seen Reds for around £150-£350. We are still using £ not the euro. We didn't join the single currency.

How much are Columbian Black and white tegu's in the UK?

Sorry, really should try reading posts on a full size screen, not on my iPhone :( Sorry, saw black and white and made the mistake of thinking you were after an Argentine. Most of the tegus I've seen recently have been argentine black and whites, or golds. Young Argentines are around £250, golds...

How much are Columbian Black and white tegu's in the UK?

Try more like £250 for a youngster. Have a look on reptileclassifieds or RFUK, you usual find them for sale on there. Good luck :)

Finding a female is about the only way you will avoid that characteristic.
