Finally got him to eat! I tried cutting a cricket in half and at first he seemed really pissed, and then he realized what it was and swallowed it in one bite haha, and went on to eat his fill, thanks so much for everyones help with keeping this fellow alive

His eyes seem to be held shut so I can't really tell what is going on inside, I can only see a bit of black between his lids and he seems to have a hard time shedding around his eyes, thanks for the suggestions i will definitely give that a try
I have a female B&W that is about a year and a half now and she is a little under 2 feet, but she was VERY small when i received her and she hibernated much longer than my other tegu. she has a healthy diet and is extremely happy otherwise and continues to grow at a rapid pace

Love your critters! I posted those picture of the cat and gu' eating off the same plate. My animals are the same way... gu' doesn't care and the cat is insanely interested. BTW I am a metalhead too:)
How old is Kodo?
Thanks everyone! I haven't measured him lately but he is around 27-28" from snout to tail, if I had to guess. He is a little over a year old and growing everyday it seems.
I was excited about how white he was too! Also, he has a little bindi birthmark on his forehead :) super cute
