    Sick??Help please

I have a 2 year old B&W female tegu, I have been letting her run around outside a lot this summer and she has been really enjoying it but today as she was wandering around the yard I noticed she stopped moving for awhile. I picked her up and she was flicking her tongue and looking around but...

[attachment=5164][attachment=5165] good idea, he drank a bunch of water when we first got him here, you could tell it had been awhile.. here are a couple pics of him, we weren't expecting him so we had to improvise on the cage a little until we were able to setup something better =) we named...

How to feed a blind lizard

His eyes seem to be held shut so I can't really tell what is going on inside, I can only see a bit of black between his lids and he seems to have a hard time shedding around his eyes, thanks for the suggestions i will definitely give that a try

1 and 1/2 year old male tegu.

I have a female B&W that is about a year and a half now and she is a little under 2 feet, but she was VERY small when i received her and she hibernated much longer than my other tegu. she has a healthy diet and is extremely happy otherwise and continues to grow at a rapid pace

How to feed a blind lizard

We recently adopted a blind leopard gecko (The person taking care of him was ill informed about many things and he lost his eyesight due to dehydration =( ) anyways, it has been a few days now and i'm not expecting him to warm up to his new life right away, but i can't get him to eat anything...

    New enclosure finished!

Hahaha we play way too much mario cart on game cube. Okay, here's the meat: We made it collapsable by creating grooves (with 2 x 2 's) on each edge of the bottom, so the walls slide in and out. We essentially made two cages (4 feet + 4 feet in length) and connected them in the middle by a...

Hello everyone, These are pictures of our tegu enclosures. The large one on the bottom is 8x4x3 and it is completely collapsable. The one sitting on the top right is a coffee table we turned into a tegu enclosure for our smaller gu'. Ask me any questions you have on it! I thought I...

Thanks everyone! I haven't measured him lately but he is around 27-28" from snout to tail, if I had to guess. He is a little over a year old and growing everyday it seems. I was excited about how white he was too! Also, he has a little bindi birthmark on his forehead :) super cute Frank (cat)...

    Pics of Cricket

Here are some pictures of Cricket, and his friend Frank! Just thought I would share. Cricket got out of bed this morning to eat some tuna then went straight back under his mulch :3 (I was told that Cricket was a boy, can anyone tell for sure with these pictures?)--- I am suspicious that...

    Room to Enclosure Conversion

I probably should have mentioned that I live in an apartment so any extreme makeovers of the room wouldn't be a possiblity. I like the idea of having his cage that he lives in now open for him to potty (he pottys in one place so its kind of convenient!), bask and soak in his water. on...
