    "Killer Aliens" on Animal Planet

I had a similar discussion about Animal Planet on another fourm I use, but about "Uprising". Which is pretty much a program about animals being out to kill us ex. geese "purposely" flying into plane turbines to make them crash. I'm really disappointed because I grew up watching Animal Planet...

    PowerSun Died After One Month?

After some searching I came up with this about halogen bulbs. Not sure if the same concept is applied to mvbs. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=286499" onclick="window.open(this.href);return...

    PowerSun Died After One Month?

My local reptile store owner said to make sure to use a towel or a shirt to screw in the mvb bulbs because the oil on your skin can limit their life span. I've only had the bulb for a month, which is a solar glo 160w, so I can't say to see if it makes any difference.

    Those with new baby tegus...

As soon as she is in the bin, she has her heart set on getting out. Not even interested in the food. She eats just fine from her bowl on the couch though. I have to keep an eye on her, but I don't mind since I have the intention of letting her free roam in the future.

    HELP

My hatchling was twitching too the first day I got her, you just have to not handle them and try not to stress her out. She'll settle down and stop on her own.

Those bulbs arn't infrared, they're just a red bulb. Cermaic heat emitters give off actual infrared heat.

    getting a bit discouraged

I don't remember where I read this on here, but it was pretty good advice. The person suggested that you just work in the tank, turning over mulch etc. But, completely ignore the tegu. Do this everyday, so the tegu doesn't associate, hand in tank = me being chased/picked up. After awhile the...
