WOW, I haven't been around here in a while! I started those posts to put all the info I could find on Blues in one place and get any additional info people would post. It got really ugly. A lot of the bickering posts were deleted. That's all I've got to say on that.
You won't need the full size enclosure until the next year. They're only up for a few months after hatching, then the hibernate for the winter. You could use a 30/40 gallon tank until the next spring/summer.

We have a Cuban Rock Iguana that seems to like human interaction. When I talk to her she turns her head slightly to the side and looks at me like she's really listening. She will run up my arm to my shoulders when ever possible and hang out.
Some critters get used to a routine, if he's used to pooping in the tub he might be holding it and gotten himself impacted. Daily warm soaks will help. You could try cat hairball medicine. Both of those helped our impacted Blue a few years ago. He had a bad habit of eating his mulch and...
