Whole prey vs home processed meatballs

I don't dust, unless it's fruit or other none whole prey. Like that meal I would have dusted with vitamin and calcium

Whole prey vs home processed meatballs

You name it I feed it. Quail, rabbits, mice. Rats, chicks, shrimp, crawfish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, still born snakes, lots of whole fish, anything I can get my hands on.

Whole prey vs home processed meatballs

Whoe prey>meatballs 100% Whole prey is a complete meal with no need for supplements. Meatballs are lacking a large amount of vitamins and nutrients on top of a extremely low calcium level. The amount of "powder" needed to make up the difference is crazy and you end up with a chalky meat ball...

    Rodents

The can't digest fur is a myth..fur isn't hard for them to digest either...as long as husbandry meets the bare minimum requirements it won't ever be a problem

Need help and info about tegus

Care is similar just less fruit. Colombians max at around 3.5 foot. And Colombians are more active, but neither species is going to sit and let you handle them go long periods of time. They are both active lizards and will be on the go exploring. For lights I like PAR 38 halogen bulbs 60-80...

Colombians don't eat much fruit, some will take it but most don't. Feel free to offer it but don't be discouraged if they don't eat it.
