hey all i have a baby b&w argintine extreme giant tegu and as soon as he arived at my house during september and was starting to hibernate.
he just woke up and is trying to go back into hibernation but he is very very thin. i have been offering him turkey crickets water and a type of canned...
i just very gently used a warm soaked q tip to dab at his ear and i gave him a bath
the picture i gave yuo is from before hibernation so i guess i never notived but i think i got him this way
what scares me is that i have really ever seen beardie ears and tegu ears are totally different

hey all my hatchling tegu from bobby at varnyard just woke up from his hibernation and i noticed that there is somthing black in his ear
the ear itself looks dry and flaky with what appears to be a very small piece of cypress mulch loged in it
please can anyone help me? hes my favorite out of...
i've read all about the hibernation and i think he's trying to hibernate.
he has a hide full of warm cypress mulch but do i need to get him anything else?
he hasnt eaten for about 20 days and i think i keep accidentaly waking him from hibernation

i can't tell when the last time he deficated because his cypress mulch is bout 3 inches deep in his 40 gllon breeder all his limbs are fully functional
i don't have any supplements for tegu's but i have bearded dragon supplement
if anyone can tell me what kind of supplement...
