    My baby tegu is shedding at the moment and the "thumb" of his hand is bleeding. Not badly, but i picked him up and he got some blood on my hand. I really hope I didn't cause that, it possibly could have been him scraping his shedding off in the cypress mulch of his cage. Right now hes sleeping...

    Anyone know/have an estimate of when he'll be out of this "phase"? When he finally emerges, starts eating, and basks under the lights instead of being burrowed all day?
