    my tegu Loki has a pretty nasty attitude to him (defacates bites and tail whips) when I try to pick him up but after five minutes he calms down anything I can do to try to mellow him down/ tame him?

    im kinda new to the whole tegu thing I have a 40 gallon tank cypress mulch two lights one for a daylight alternative and the other for heat drift wood to climb a hide on the hot side and dishes for both good and water... He already ate a pinky and a grape so I think he's adjusting fine but...
