    Hello All

Awesome. Ya they can be moody. The more you interact, the better. And they do get easier as they grow. I think most people will agree with that. Although, the bites can be nastier and thats why i use gloves. Always.

Thats nice that he is already walking onto your hand. Be careful of picking it up from above. They cant really see too much that way so it will really startle him.

    Hello All

The claw marks only get worse. Haha. Which is why i use welders gloves. The ones you can see in the pic are good. I am going to get ones that are tighter around the forearm. How do you get him out of the cage?

    NEW REPTILE ADVENTURE

Yes, i agree. Never from above. If that is the way you choose. Each one probably has their own acceptance of ways to be handled. Nor Cal Outdoor Enclosure

I am in the same situation. Ive posted a thread called "outdoor enclosure in CA" a lot of good advice in the replies. Im thinking of a couple things, cheap and not so cheap. You can do something very simple like corrugated steel sheet metal siding and on top of that some sort of chicken...

    NEW REPTILE ADVENTURE

Hello! Ive spent a lot of time researching taming techniques. It was the biggest challenge for me. Some will say to just go in and grab them, i didnt get good results with that. Ive learned that these reptiles are very curious, i would just sit next to the enclosure with my hand flat on the...

    Hello All

Hello! Awesome Red! One thing i first learned with mine, im not sure if others will agree, is that those woods chips can be harmful if swallowed. Thats why i use soft coco fiber.
