as long as you can maintain proper heat/uvb in a plastic tub you should be ok, they thrive much better with proper temps and diet so as long as you can maintain these factors then it is fine. 100-110 degrees. toss proper depth substate in there and see if it melts pre Tegu :p
I know how crazy some of these things are, I really cant even click on the link. Im too tired today to have a broken heart. I still have that Turtle image in my head :( whatever the case may be I hope right is done.
lol, hey Dragon, he pretty much eats the cookie cutter Tegu Diet. eggs, lots of turkey, gizzards, hearts (when I can find them), liver and only when he comes out with me for the day I will put a banana in his carry bin, once a month or so when I take him to work to show him off :D he use to eat...
sorry to hear about your loss, your story is very touching and its storries like this why I continue to love and care for my little guys the best I can. your little one will be in a better place and the memories you have shared are ever lasting. :)
hey Dragon, sorry about your loss. sometimes, when its time its time. Im sure Dolemite had a good time while he was with you. thats what really matters! he was lucky to have such a pimp name. ;)
I really dont know much about Columbians, but Im betting from the price tag they are wild caught, with a little TLC all that should clear up. I dont really know about their personalities though, lol. Im tempted to pick one up from Underground. about a year ago @ Underground they had this...
they will, I dont know if he was wild caught or just sitting in a pet store for a couple of months. but its due to improper shedding, soaks and proper diet should set him straight and when he sheds a few times he will look all nice and pretty. :) they are just in pain from that shed being stuck...
yeah its always a good idea to go for a vet visit when we are unsure. hopefully its something simple. keep us posted Im curious on this one. best of luck J.
