Hey everyone. Link is doing well, but he's going to be staying with a friend for a few months while I get my life sorted out. This means I need to sell his cage.
I'm in Olympia WA, the cage is 8ft long, 3ft tall, and 28 inches deep- just big enough to fit through a door. The cage splits into...
If you raised the edges of the frame on top a bit you could just pour some grout and use flagstone or something too :) depends on what look you want. If you want to go cheap, you can get shower tiles instead of floor tiles.
I actually just came back to Tegutalk today to check up on things :) so thank you for the credit (even though I never did build any of my designs) looks like you've really got the hang of sketchup :) good simple design that should go a long way!

They are probably referring to the ban on import and export between countries without a permit. It is possible to get CITES paperwork to import and export Tegus but it costs a lot of money. As it does not sound like you were not trying to import/export the animals between countries, this...

I currently live in Olympia WA, and will be moving out of area until September. Link has...

CITES is international law- it only applies to international transportation of the animals or their parts. It has nothing to do with local law saying you can or cannot have the animal. They are classified as vulnerable, but not endangered. I doubt it's illegal to keep, unless it's a potential...
You got your blue tegu from Brazil?! That's incredible! I highly suggest breeding them in the future to other blues, as the gene pool (at least here in the states) is extremely limited due to import bans.
Please don't use any heating pads or heating rocks- they can develop hot spots and burn your animal. You just want to use lights to heat the cage like james.w suggested.
