Well, I've been noticing that my big boy xibulba sometimes just doesn't even bother to burrow anymore. He'll lay on top of where he would and just sleep there. They're getting cramped in their current tank (4x2x2) and were building a new one currently but it's so funny to see him just laying...
The big one is nearly dog tame. The smaller one is super fast and kinda skittish, and tail whips a lot. But sometimes he surprises me and will just come sit on my stomach if I'm laying on the couch ignoring him.
Never bothered to try giving them veggies. I tried strawberries once and they didn't even look twice. They love their meat. I just give them a multivitamin sprinkle with their calcium.
I disagree with not hand feeding. I hand feed both my boys mice, and ground turkey as well as eggs and they've never gone for my hands thinking I'm food.
