I'm just curious if anyone else has a tegu that does this..
It's the middle of April almost and our blue tegu is almost a year old. He has started to slowly come out of brumation but not fully out yet. He never comes out during the day though. He will come out late in the evening or at night...
So we got our blue tegu back last September and he was about 3 months old. About a month after we got him, he went down into brumation. Totally expected but with that being said, we didn't get much time to work with him to get comfortable around us or to even handle him much.

Blue tegus have different markings. Their snout will have charred looked to it. And underneath their eyes, there will black tear drop markings. Black n white won't have these
My girlfriend and I recently got a Blue Tegu. When we got him/her, they said they were pretty sure it was a male and about 3 months old. I dont see the enlarged scales near the vent yet to signify a male but maybe because it's too young still?? This was back in Sept 19'. So as of now its Feb 20'...
