DUH UVb doesnt come from mice and thats not what i said...once again OUT OF CONTEXT...D3 comes from UVB and also comes from mice...NOT Ultra Violet rays come mice thats just stupid...the Vitamin D3 does...and too much d3 can contribute to D3...thanks DAve for the clarification
D3 coems from UVB...many people don't use them when they are adults...so i'm NOT wrong its just NOT smart...its also taken out of context..using both D3 powder and UVB can lead to MBD =.=
UVB is provided through mice so once a monitor gets old enough it doesnt need it anymore...same for a tegu once they reach adulthood they don't need uvb and giving it to them anyways can also lead to MBD...too much d3 isnt good...i actually kow of people who dust their animals food with D3 and...

YAY!!! after 3 hours of working i finally got him out from underneath...that little bugger crawled INTO the stove inbetween the side panel and the actual stove area...it was EXTREMELY hard but finally got the panel off the side and dragged him out and HOLY CRAP wa she pissed...thrashing about...
he's right underneath the front...i just made some eggs but he's showing no signs of coming out...i don't know what the hell to do...i tried coaxing him out but he's not moving no matter how much i poke him
and now he's climbed up behind the stove =( so i dont think he can climb down now =( this is stressign me out TOO much...i'm not to sure this guy is captive breed either
yea...my gf actually mentioned trying that...i left a mouse in the floor for him to get but my gf's wonderful dogs scared him back underneath the stove now he is in the VERY back up against the wall...i will try cooking the eggs though ^_^
o today just like any other day i took my GU out of it's enclsure for some free-roam time...usually it's fine it's some exercise, i get to make it some food, everyone is happy..well today i took him out and same routine as usual but this time my gf came into the room and scared it half to...
they say that because rodents are high in fat content it itsn't good for any living animal to eat to much fat on adaily basis because it can lead to health risks
also try fisting...a little trick i learned that helps with monitors...make a fist and just put your hand in there don't move it or anything and everyday gradually move it closer to Tequila and you'll notice she'll come around soon enoug to sniff ya and just think "What the heck is this thing?"...
well the tank i'm gonna get isnt 6 x 3 x 3 it's 7.5 x 3.25 x 2.25 and i will mostlikely put my savannah in it when it gets big enough and i'll build an 8 x 4 x 3 for 2 tegus
