    My Columbian is the same way, she will climb all over me but.once I try to touch her she high tails it to the nearest hiding spot. takes a lot time but you can notice that overtime they get a little bit more relaxed with you... its a great feeling. :D. btw what a lovely gu you got! Love the colors!

    Thats what I figured...so I will be switching to dirt it looks like..rather have a dirty tegu instead of a sick one! But I did do a warm soak and she manage to squeeze a tiny bit more out.

    Lately I've notice my tegu has change her sleeping patterns to the point were she only up for 2 hours at most and I've been noticing when she wakes up she has some of the bedding in her mouth (I use pure cypress) shes been eating ok ..besides being picky and pretty much active when she is up...

    Oh I am sorry it must of automatically made it private but I believe its public now. And I am using pure cybress mulch, that's what the breeder recommended.
