Tegu eating mulch/poop!???

Aha well thank you The part that bothered me was that the poo was mostly mulch and quail feathers and when I picked it up he started chasing my hand

I'm 16 years old and I have a 8x4x4 cage. I knew all the requirements for my animal and I wouldn't have even considered getting my tegu if I couldn't properly care for him.

Impaction??

Cypress mulch from lowes I do feed him in the enclosure and he drags his food from his bowl in the mulch for some reason

I got home from work today and found a crap from my tegu with a bunch of mulch in it.Should I be worried about impaction if he's passing the mulch?
