    Underground reptiles sale

Ah wow that's a good price. Too bad I bought a Chacoan earlier this week, oh well I'm happy with what I got. :)

Where to get my baby B&W?

I've been to the white plains expo probably 3 or 4 times and have always seen tegus there, especially in July there should be some babies. A few breeders babies have been hatching in the past week or two. Not sure of any of the breeders names.

    Chacoans for sale?

They're $30 cheaper and I would assume it has to do with the amount of each tegu they get. Looks like they have over 100+ chacoans, and I'm not sure how many "normal" B&ws

Where to get my baby B&W?

There's the reptile expo in White Plains, New York in early July that will definitely have some tegus, might be a 3 hour drive for you, from southern CT it's about 2 hours or so. If you want to buy online I'd recommend http://undergroundreptiles.com/product-category/animals/tegus/ Their eggs...

    Reptiles in Iowa

Lol.. I'm sure there are plenty of people in Iowa with tegus ;)

I don't have a tegu yet, but I am about to remedy that.

Most people feed their hatchlings until they are full

    What type of tegu

Blue tegus tend to stay smaller than other argentines, but are also more exspensive. Colombians are also able to become just as tame as argentines, are cheaper and stay a little smaller. Also they don't hibernate like argentines..

Do they always try to get away?

Mine is kind of the same way, as soon as I put my hand in her cage she jumps onto it and comes out but then doesn't want to sit still.. Should calm down eventually mine is only 6 weeks old.

    Exploratory bites

    1. You at least handle your tegu once everyday when you take him/her out to feed. 2. There is less of a chance of cage aggression. You haven't experienced cage aggression, but it is still a possibility that they will associate things coming into their cage as food.. While if they are constantly...

    Exploratory bites

You should really think about feeding him outside of his enclosure..

    Looking for tegu

The cheapest would be Colombian tegus, then argentine black and whites. Which that site should be selling argentine black and whites next year and I would assume they would be under 250.
