Hello fellow tegus and tegu lovers! I have a question.. Nelly needs an outdoor living situation for this up coming summer. I was wondering if anyone had advice/links to information for how to build an outdoor enclosure? Also I live on the coast of Massachusetts. We plan on keeping him both out...
Thanks Sarefina for all your prayers!
Bubblz, I have checked out the other forums in regards to amputation and fracture. It's too bad there isn't more information out there about large reptile fractures that don't have to do with toes (not that toes aren't important). Taking him out to go to the...
I mix in mango, blue berries and papaya and the occasional kiwi in with his ground turkey. Let me tell you, this gu will eat anything! Do you feed whole meals of fruit? And papaya makes for a fun fruit as the seeds don't digest at all.

She's about three feet, we did try upping the amount of food we've been feeding her and it seemed to help. The guy we got her from said to watch out for over feeding though. Is this important? And how would I know if I am over feeding her?
My boyfriend and I have recently adopted a B+W Argentine. She is in great overall health and eats like a champ. We have started gaining her trust slowly but we have a growing problem. She wants to eat us. She hunts our feet if we let her free roam. We want to keep her but if she continues to...
