hey,i got a red argentine about a month and a half back.i have him in a 75 gallon until he gets larger,at the moment hes around a foot and a bit and feeds on hoppers.when i got him he was burrowing alot and was very pissy when getting held,i was told he was very friendly.he still hasnt eating...

i just got a red male thats about a foot and a half shipped to me from an unknown source in canada.since i got him hes been sleeping burrowed non-stop and has refused all types of food for the past week.im thinking the shipping sent him into hibernation or something.if so im gone for 2 weeks in...
im not an expert by any means but since no one else replied ill give my opinion.i think it would be fine for it to go a week without food,cause in the wild they obviously don't have a constant food supply and probably sometimes go for a while without it.but if your already having some one come...
this is exactly the post iv been looking for :P i also hunt and have a freezer full of wild meet,i am getting a baby red in around a week to and this will deff help with the feeding bill.Im guessing that other wild meats like grouse,moose and rabbit are fine to?
