I would like to get a monitor. I want one larger than an Akie but smaller than a Savannah.

Is there a monitor out there around 3ft that makes a great pet?

Thanks for the help

had one. not that hard, like mentioned before they just eat mostly shellfish.(fresh preferably). when i tried to feed rats they he just ripped it to shreds before eating. kind of a mess! but i sold it cause i just couldnt take the fishy smell, its a constant cleaning process more than most other reps. but the plus side was he was tame as can be!!

Get an argus, man. They are long, but not too heavily bodied. They are typically unafraid and entertaining. They are ravenous eaters. May even eat your fingers! Argus also seem very rugged, like something of a bigger, nastier ackie. I'm suddenly in love with these guys and plan to get one as soon as I can house an adult adequately.
