Do adult tegus need as much humidity and uvb as babies? Are adults less sensitive to less humidity? Is it okay to have the ambient temp to be in the low 60s with a basking spot or does it have to be in the 80s with a basking spot? Thanks.
My adult lives in the same conditions as my younger one, which is the normal heat and normal humidity if thats what your asking, I do nothing different with my adult except it can eat 10x as much. Then again adult will not shed as much as a baby (of course) but the humidity issue is really to help shedding...a simple bath every 2-3 days helps keep their skin moist and helps them stay hydrated, you honestly wouldnt have shedding problems with low humidity if you gave the tegu bathes and cod liver oil.
ohhh nooo dont worry that was just a question about future plans because the room temperature is in the 60s. So i was just wondering if he could live in those temps but apparently not
