So I have my blood python up for sale and someone asked if I would trade for a black/white tegu. I'm like sure I would love to have another, they said she was perfectly healthy blah blah so we decided to meet halfway 45 mins ea way for us both. Well I get there and our blood python is healthy he sees her and says o she is fine. I look at the tegu and she just lays there doesn't do anything. So I take her out of the box put her in my seat and she lays there, He says o she will move and starts petting her and she starts to move more swimming than walking her back legs I THINK worked ok, but she couldn't pick up her chest and she didn't pick her head off the seat even when she "walked". So I told him I couldn't trade my snake for her but I felt really bad leaving her in such bad shape. IF I would have had extra money for her and an immediate vet trip maybe. I told him to make sure he has the right lights food maybe calcium. Im thinking she maybe mbd, but something wasn't right. Also her tummy and underside was flat like she had been laying on it a while. The guy told me the name of the place it came from and I'm pretty sure its a breeder/importer Ive heard some bad things about.
