HI all... there is a B&W for sale in my area that i was going to look at, I have a concern though. They say she is 3 years old and only about 2' in length. I have only seen pictures from the sellers cell phone and it looks like the tegu was housed in a small aquarium. Is this something that should be a concern? I am adding pictures that were sent from the seller.

Some are slower growing depending on what they are fed, if they hibernated and what the housing situation is; but yes a 3 year old tegu even a female should be around 3 feet long. Either he is lying about the age or the size. Best thing is to check it out in person as photos can be hard to judge. Ask lots of questions like where he got it from, how long he has had it, what its been feeding on, housing it has, hibernation patterns and any health issues.
