It looks like one of the Callopistes species, maybe macrolatus. These were commonly called Chilean Dwarf Tegus years ago and were pretty easy keepers, altho they can be escape artists and wicked fast!!

Yeah, definitely of the teiid variety. I think the common name for callopistes is a false monitor. Not too common lol. Sweet find.

I would e-mail that person who has it for sale and ask for some better pictures.It's hard to see what kind off lizard it is because the pic is so blurry.I'm gessing that he/she is wild caught.This is the best picture I could find that looks close to the one in the pic you posted.
