im not a 100% on this but i dont think anyone is breeding them or has breed them i think they came in back in the 90s and the ones around are from that original group. big monitor guy in arizona (cant remember name) may have breed them but i dont think there has if any successful multiple clutches. not the lizard for everyone need room sized cage and very active. a lot of pacing and digging. did i say the get huge.... easy 15 by 18 ft cage for 1 adult id say. i may be wrong on this its been a while. but this is also why they are so $$$$$$$$$
They are incredibly hard to care for, they can be aggressive and they don't sell for 450. I don't personally know of any breeders I would think if you get one at baby stage you're looking at $600 at the very least but I have never seen babies offered. I saw an untamed adult for $2000 last year...
if u seen them $450 put me down for 6, yes the do get big !!!! one here at bronx zoo easy 5ft long head to tail. sounds to me like u have no idea what u are getting into or asking about.. maybe u should get a leopard gecko or something?
