That's what they look like. And be careful.....they are not as comon as you might think. Usually the ones you find online are in fact Uromastyx. The real deal(Cordylus cataphractus) has a fully armor scaled body....not just the tail

ty for going out of your way, i saw the one on bottom online, i took one in as rescue but they didnt know what it was so know im trying to figure out what i have, it was kept in really bad conditions, it doesnt look like this one but the one that seems to be sold as this. again ty so much if u have any more info that would be great thanks

i doubt its the one pictured. thats a cordylus cataphractus. they are extremely rare and very very expensive

no its not that, i finally got a pic of it when he came out today....

that looks like soe kind of skink, doesnt look like an armadillo lizard to me.

Those Armadillos are amazing looking! I so want one now. I took a look on Kingsnake and one was going for over a grand! SO JEALOUS!

yea its a gerosaurus major so dont feed to manny inseckts but lots of fruit/ veggy they like that

I saw something that looked like an armadillo lizard... wasn't sure so I had my friend take some pics. It was in a petland for about 40 bucks but heres the thing... one looked like the "plated lizard" and one looked like an "armadillo" pics coming soon, but has anyone ran across these "armadillo lizards" at petstores like petland or petco?

the first one is a pic of the head... it is significantly different from the other one in the same tank in my opinion. Then the second pic is one of the scales... it looks different to me than the other one in the pic... or is this just my imagination?! please opinions are welcome. And this guy/girl is so cute I want to pic him/her up asap.
