yes its normal, most tegus hibernate, so feedind almost and should stop when this occurs. i did not let my young tegu do this though because i wanted to add weight and size to it and get it ready for next year. keep looking on here and read bobbys post on on hibernating its very important to understand the things to do and not to do ok!! hope this helps go to varnyard web site and click care and breeding lots of info on it for you!!
