at what point can a tegu become pregnant

after my female hibernates and wakes up next year she will still be very small but at what point do i have to worry bout my male and her trying to mate.... i plan on seperating them as ssoon as that becomes a worry.... i mean i had ideas of building one huge enclosure and just keepin them togthere there whole life but would they not mate eventually? my male is a red and female is a black and white.... if i did breed them is it very difficult to do so succesfully and do u think id be able to sell all the off spring? just some things i need to think about for the future.... any answers id apprciate

I've read that females can lay eggs at three years old and males can fertilize eggs at 2 years old...

But... having never bred Tegus personally, I can't confirm that information...
