Bathtime for a new tegu

Brought our tegu home yesterday. Gave her a warm bath. After put her back in her cage. Her old owner had her on wood chips. We went out this morning and bought her cypress mulch and mixed in some peat moss. Should hold a lot more moisture and be better for burrowing. She does have this brown tinge to her. U can kind of see in the pictures especially her head. Will this come off with regular baths or do they always have a slight brown to them?
