This is Roy in these pictures, the first ones show how dirty and stained he was before shedding after his long hibernation. The last pictures were taken today. :)

Bobby, Roy is such a pretty black and white...I think I told you this before but my background is a tegu collage and Roy is in two of the pictures lol...one of my favorite tegus I dont know why. All of yours are gorgeous though. Props!

I see that you have your Tegus outside but in my area, I'd be afraid to do that. We have lots of hawks, owls, cats, etc. In fact, I had a starling I was recuperating and I had it in a cage no less on our front deck. I found one wing the next morning and a bunch of pin feathers on the top of the cage. A red shouldered hawk or screech owl must have taken the bird sometime in the early morning. We also have lots of foxes here in MD. Do you worry about any of those critters getting your Tegus?

We also have lots of hawks, possums, fox, dogs, owls, and cats. I don't have any problem with them, all of my young tegus have tops on the cages, and none of the above wants to mess with an adult tegu. I also have 6ft wooden fences, that keeps most of them out.
