blockage?

Lately I've notice my tegu has change her sleeping patterns to the point were she only up for 2 hours at most and I've been noticing when she wakes up she has some of the bedding in her mouth (I use pure cypress) shes been eating ok
..besides being picky and pretty much active when she is up but today when she pooped there was some traces of her mulch in it...so I am wondering if she may have a blackage...so I am wondering what are signs of a blockage and what can I change her bedding to so I can avoid this problem. Any help would be appreciated!

Also should add she was straining pretty hard to push her poop out too...maybe soil would be better???

Dirt will work as a great substrate. It is a little dirtier than cypress, but less risk of impaction. Try some soaks in warm water if you haven't already.

Thats what I figured...so I will be switching to dirt it looks like..rather have a dirty tegu instead of a sick one! But I did do a warm soak and she manage to squeeze a tiny bit more out.
