I haven't posted pics of this guy in a long time. I got this boy back in July. He is about 38 inches and around 5 lbs. Great guy. He has some really nice blue tint to him though my flash tends to wash it out.

For as nice as he is to the human people (never offering to bite)... he is a demon for all the other lizard pals. Whenever I introduce him to anything with scales... he starts 'love' chewing on them. He chews necks, tails, cheeks, anything he can get a grip with. He chews on the large female (who takes him on quite a ride), he chews on the male Sav too! He only does this if he is in the enclosure with one of them. So naturally he has his bachelor pad. He doesn't do it free roaming. Interesting thing is that both the lizards he chews on could really give him the what for, but they don't. Big female tries to destroy me for giving her a massage but she allows him to chew off her face. Weird.

Absolutely right. If I don't want to deal with the consequences... they should be housed separately. He is no longer an option as a cagemate until he gets his shot at breeding the female. But that is not for awhile. So he is outta there and living solo. But I am not going to lie... I enjoy seeing some of the behaviors that occur when they are together.

Agreed I had eli and vanilla together for a couple weeks and it was fun to watch them together. I'm hoping to put nikkitine and vanilla together when nikkitine gets some size on her it might work neither one has a mean bone in their body :)

I give them a intoductory period and make decisions accordingly. It is a lot of fun to see the head bobbing and tail twitching etc. Cool stuff. I have cages available if the pairings don't work out. I think it is key if you are going to try to introduce that you have a solid plan B when one of the two just don't want anything to do with it.
